Drupal Content Management
Website Development
Our first launched Drupal site of 2012 was a redesigned site for The Friends of the Wissahickon. Our design partner, Kelsh/Wilson crafted a dynamic homepage and website that tells a compelling narrative, and provides valuable information for park visitors and enthusiasts. We successfully implemented 3 separate instances of the cycle plugin on the homepage, each manipulating one another. Also on the homepage, we integrated with Google's weather API to present a live snapshot in the footer of Wissahickon's current conditions. The site features a robust news and events section that allows site visitors to expand and collapse new posts, and sort through events with different taxonomy tags. To categorize and present a large collection of birds, mammals, and plants, we implement Kelsh/Wilson's intuitive Guide templates. This site also features a secure section for sharing events and documents with Board members that have approved access.
